The Remotula

To celebrate the launch of the ultimate backyard TV, we combined two of man’s great inventions into one glorious gadget.

The Samsung Terrace is the brand's latest outdoor television designed for backyard entertainment was launching in the middle of a global pandemic. We needed to drive earned and social conversation about the new TV - with an audience of media and consumers all stuck at home. We created the ultimate companion to The Terrace - a hybrid remote and BBQ spatula designed to let you flip your burgers and flip channels without missing a beat.

To launch the Remotula, we partnered with YouTube Chef Josh Weissman and invited him to unbox the device and pair it with his new Terrace the week before the TV’s official launch in a video that received over 10,000 social engagements. We further amplified the launch with a nationwide sweepstakes, giving away a grilling package of the Terrace TV, The Remotula, and a Weber Grill to five lucky winners out of over 9,000 entries.
