An interactive retro workspace that paid tribute to the company’s OG development team.
Where typical tech marketing shouts about the latest and greatest, the bleeding edge, the next big thing, we did the exact opposite. To celebrate the Microsoft’s 50th, we built a time machine. The Original Build transported attendees at Microsoft Build (the company’s annual developer conference) back to 1975, when Bill, Paul and their original crew created Basic and launched Micro-Soft. A series of coding challenges (quietly powered by modern Microsoft tech Copilot, Azure and GitHub) tested developers to see if they had the chops to make the original team.
