Russia created the most impactful advertising campaign of the century. We submitted their work for the industry awards they (unfortunately) deserved.

In 2016, Donald Trump was elected president. Using a mix of targeted advertising and social media tactics, Russia helped make it happen. To hold the ad industry accountable for creating the tools and techniques that influenced the election, we made a case study for Russia’s meddling campaign and submitted it to major award shows. The project was nominated for a Webby Award andwon Best in Show at The One Show, before being disqualified for not actually being submitted by Russia. Then, The One Club held a panel discussion about the project during Creative Week. In the end, the project garnered a ton of attention and served as a wake up call for the industry to channel its creativity for good vs. evil.
