PNC BANK

Gingerbread Branch

The world's first working bank made of gingerbread.

How do you make financial education more palatable? You channel Willy Wonka and build a bank branch out of real gingerbread, complete with a cookie encrusted ATM and a candy cane vault. The branch was made from 2.5 tons of gingerbread and included 12 meticulously iced columns featuring the gifts from "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and their 2015 prices. The branch was open for 3 days in Philadelphia and attracted over 5000 visitors and quite a bit of media attention.
